Are GORE-TEX® shoes really waterproof?
Yes, a lot of our women’s GORE-TEX® footwear has a special membrane which stops water and other liquids from getting in, but allows water vapour emitted by your body to escape. The result is that your feet stays dry.
Is leather more waterproof than GORE-TEX®?
Although leather is water-resistant, it is not entirely waterproof unless specially treated. It will absorb water and as this dries it can cause the material to become stiff. GORE-TEX® on the other hand is entirely waterproof and will allow your skin to breathe.
Is GORE-TEX® good for winter shoes?
